OPEN HOURS, HOLIDAYS, AND ADMISSION FEE

  • Open from Tuesday to Sunday.
    Check tour hours

  • Closed every Monday,* and on New Year’s and Obon holidays.
    The facility is open on Mondays that are holidays and closed on the next business day.

  • No admission fees.

TOUR SIZE

  • General
    Individual tours can accommodate up to 30 visitors.
    *Up to 10 visitors for 1 group.
  • Group
    The number of participants should be should be 20 or more and up to 30.
    *If the participants were 19 or fewer, the tour would be held with other groups.
    *If you would like to make a reservation for group of students and visit as a class, you may consult us by phone.

TARGET AGE GROUP

The tour is designed to be easily understood by students in the upper grades of elementary school. We encourage people of all ages to enjoy the tour.
We insist that children age 9 or under be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

FACILITIES

  • Parking

    There is a parking lot in front of the main entrance, but space is limited.
    If you plan to visit by chartered bus, please let us know when you make your reservation.

  • Lockers

    There are lockers in the visitor tour area.
    Please ask an attendant if you have suitcases or any other large baggage.

  • Wheelchairs and strollers

    Wheelchairs and strollers are available for use. Please ask an attendant if you wish to use a wheelchair or stroller during the tour. The number of wheelchairs and strollers available is limited.

SERVICES

  • Multiple Languages

    There is recorded audio guidance and video subtitles available in English or Chinese during some parts of the tour.
    *Currently stopping using audio guidance. Only video subtitles are available.

  • Service Dogs

    Seeing eye dogs, hearing dogs, and other service dogs are welcome to accompany visitors in the facility.

  • Please arrive early to ensure the reception process is complete at least 10 minutes before the scheduled tour.
  • It may not be possible to reserve a specific time if that time has already been reserved by certain prioritized groups, such as schools.

  • In case of bad weather or any natural disasters, visitor tour might be canceled.

Group
  1. Read and agree to the Items to note.
  2. See the tour schedule and the available tour times in the reservation system.

    Reservations can be made 30 days in advance. We begin accepting reservations at 0:00, midnight.

  3. Provide your email address to request a reservation application.
  4. If we are able to accommodate you, click on the link in the email to go to the reservation form.
Requests to customers
  1. Please fill out your representative’s information on our website when you make a reservation. (1)Name (2)Company’s name (facultative) (3)Contact information (address/ telephone number/ e-mail address)
  2. We ask representative person to show his/ her identification e.g. driver's license, passport, health insurance card, student card, disability certificate or other official identification. It is used only for identification, so we will not take a photocopy. If you resister as a company, please bring your business card.
  3. Please refrain from talking loudly during the tour.
  4. Please refrain from visiting the tour if you have a fever or cold-like symptoms.
  5. Please note that we may ask you to leave if you have any cold symptoms such as cough, sneeze, sore throat and a runny nose.

Items to note
  1. Individuals under the influence of alcohol may not participate in tours.
  2. No videos or voice recordings may be taken while on the tour, but pictures are permitted in certain areas.
  3. Please count children including babies and toddlers as individuals.
  4. If you have any questions, please contact us via telephone instead of writing in the remarks column.
  5. Only two times of reservations within the same month can be made.
  6. Individuals who do not arrive before the beginning of the tour may not be able to participate.
  7. Machines may sometimes not be working during the tour for convenience of our work.
  8. We are not responsible for any accident, injury, theft or loss attributed to visitors.
  9. Tours will be guided in Japanese but English or Chinese video subtitles are available.

    Reservations for group tours can be made from 31 days to one year in advance.

  2. Read and agree to the Items to note, then contact us via telephone.
Requests to customers
  1. We require the visitors to practice cough etiquette to prevent infection.
  2. We ask that visitors sanitize their hands before and during the tour.
  3. Please refrain from talking loudly during the tour to prevent droplet transmission.
  4. Please note that we reserve the right to ask you to leave if you have any cold symptoms such as coughing intensely.
